Welcome to École Polytechnique's DHAMIS reporting platform
École Polytechnique has created the DHAMIS system (discrimination, harassment, mental health injury, sexual or gender-based offences and violence) and this reporting platform so that you can report situations of violence, notably gender-based and sexual violence, harassment, discrimination or ill-being of which you are/have been a victim or witness, or of which you have personal knowledge.
École Polytechnique is bound by an obligation of discretion and confidentiality, and observes the strictest neutrality by ensuring compliance with ethical rules and legal provisions in force.
To know
All reports will be followed up by members of the DHAMIS Unit at École Polytechnique and dealt with thoroughly by the institution's management. To be admissible and initiate proceedings, your report must be serious and factual.
If necessary, the administration, with your consent, may decide on precautionary measures, an administrative inquiry or a disciplinary investigation. A report to the public prosecutor is made by the institution in the case of a felony/ a crime, whether or not the name of the alleged perpetrator is known/indicated, and whether or not your report is anonymous.
If you find yourself in a situation of immediate and absolute emergency, we remind you that you can call an emergency alert number (17 for the police, 15 for the SAMU, 114 by SMS for people with speech or hearing difficulties).
All exchanges via the platform will remain strictly confidential. The platform also enables you to remain anonymous, while maintaining a link with a member of the DHAMIS Unit specifically trained to deal with this type of situation.
We thank you for the confidence you place in us.
Here are the different steps after sending your report:
• Step 1 : Your report will be received and read by members of the DHAMIS Unit, and a reply will be sent to you as soon as possible, and in any case within 72 hours. You can then discuss your situation and needs in writing or face-to-face with a member of the DHAMIS unit.
• Step 2 : Depending on your needs and if you wish, we can support you and refer you to trained and specialized in-house or external personnel (psychologist, doctor, etc.).
• Step 3 : Your report may lead to an administrative and/or disciplinary inquiry; in all cases, follow-up and support will be provided. Under article 40 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure, if your report indicates that a crime has been committed, the institution is obliged to inform the public prosecutor.
• Step 4 : If an inquiry is launched, it may lead to precautionary and preventive measures (a restraining order against the alleged perpetrator, etc.), disciplinary and/or criminal proceedings.
